TEST. DON’T GUESS.
Know your number.
Know what it means.
Omega-3 blood testing can provide one measurement to understand in context. The evidence-reviewed guides explain where interpretation stops.

TEST → MEASURE → ACT → RETEST
A responsible measurement journey.
- 01 / Test
Begin with a clear question.
Selected fatty acids can be measured in blood. The specimen, laboratory method, units, and collection context matter.
- 02 / Measure
Understand what comes back.
A result reports selected fatty acids in the analyzed specimen. Red-blood-cell measures reflect a longer intake window than plasma or serum.
- 03 / Act
Keep the conclusion proportional.
Use the reported measurement only for the question it can support. A reasonable next step may be learning, discussing the result, changing a habit, or doing nothing yet.
- 04 / Retest
Compare like with like.
Comparable repeat testing can document biomarker change. It does not by itself establish a broader outcome, and this journey prescribes no universal retest interval.
Evidence and limitations
Follow the evidence past the number.
The evidence-reviewed Library guides document sources from NIH, peer-reviewed methodological research, randomized trials, and an interlaboratory comparison. They explain specimen differences, response variability, laboratory comparability, and the limits of universal thresholds.
